March 15 Cusco - Belmond Monasterio Cusco

Explore the magnificently ornate 17th-century cathedral, the sacred Inca Temple of the Sun
and other treasures of Cusco this morning. Visit nearby Sacsayhuamán, where a series of
impressive terrace walls, some of the finest stonework we’ve seen yet, command views over
the city. Relax, shop, or visit Cusco’s many churches and museums this afternoon. Dinner is on
your own tonight.
Again we are spoiled with a lovely buffet breakfast.
We went to Orikancha with Indian ruins with a church on top.
Then we went to a CO OP with a llama and alpaca farm. A wool working area. Museum and store. We supported the economy. I think the best part was feeding the animals.
We visited more ruins at Saqsaywaman. There were pretty yellow and purple flowers.
Then a Catholic Church that did not allow pictures.
After a lunch we were cut loose to rest and recreate on our own so we're probably going to go wander around and see what we can see.
